Focusing on High-Noise Chemical Plant Environments in North Africa, J&R Technology Delivers an Integrated Noise Reduction Communication Solution
The petrochemical industry has long operated in high-noise environments. The operation of large rotating equipment, high-speed fluid transmission systems, and process units generates continuous and intense noise, which not only affects on-site communication efficiency but also poses ongoing challenges to employee health and operational safety.
Project Requirements
For a large-scale chemical plant project in North Africa, the customer faced a complex and demanding production environment and had clear requirements for the on-site communication system: ·Provide a relatively quiet communication space in high-noise areas ·Ensure incoming calls can be clearly recognized in noisy environments ·Require communication equipment with industrial-grade reliability and durability ·Ensure the solution can withstand high temperatures, high humidity, dust, and corrosive conditions ·Improve on-site communication efficiency and safety through a mature, stable, and easy-to-deploy communication solution
Solution
To meet the project requirements, Dongfang Junke (J&R Technology) provided an integrated communication solution combining the JR104-SC Industrial Telephone, JR-TH-03A Cold-Rolled Steel Noise Reduction Acoustic Booth, and Audible & Visual Alarm Indicator. The JR104-SC Industrial Telephone is installed inside the JR-TH-03A Noise Reduction Booth, providing workers with a quiet and controlled environment for voice communication. An audible and visual alarm indicator is installed on the exterior of the booth, allowing incoming calls to be clearly noticed even under strong background noise, ensuring that critical information is delivered in a timely manner. The JR-TH-03A Noise Reduction Booth adopts a welded cold-rolled steel structure, offering excellent sound insulation performance and environmental durability. The top of the booth integrates a warning light, while the interior provides reserved space for communication equipment installation. The overall design meets the fundamental communication and safety requirements of chemical plant environments.
After the first batch of equipment was installed and commissioned on site, the system operated reliably, and the noise reduction performance was highly recognized by the customer. System Topology Diagram
